No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

This hotel is great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location next to the main bus station in the center of town is very convenient. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. The rooms are comfortable, with the option of having a window open and three beds. The breakfast is also worth mentioning, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

Hotel Ibis Gelsenkirchen has an optimal location for a quick visit on the city. Hotel is located only 300 meters from the main railwaystation. Room was clean and equipped with all necessary things. The bed was large and comfortable. Free internet in the lobby.

The street cleaners started their work early but closing the window solved the problem.

The price of the hotel was not very good value for money.

it´s not comfortable in hot days and the internet is payed and does not have a fridge.

Great location, close to key amenities and attractions. Easy access to public transportation and walking distance to main shopping district. , enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which had good selection of food and drinks.

Overall cleanliness was poor. Bathroom had a strong odor and grout in the shower was moldy.

This hotel was quiet and I really enjoyed it. Nice service, though a few employees were terrible rude. The location was marvellous and incredible, at a short distance from Alma Park. Took a walk around city centre, located at a short distance from the venue...

The hotel is conveniently located beside the train station and close to shops, which makes it easy to get around the city. the rooms are comfortable and offer a large TV with many channels. the staff is helpful and polite, and the bathroom is modern and clean.

The rooms facing the street may be noisy in the morning, which could be inconvenient for light sleepers.

The place was clean, I booked the standard king room with inner courtyard views, everything was excellent. Appreciated an electronic key card, multi-channel television and a writing table in the room.

The location is ideal. Right next to the train and bus stations and around the corner from the main shopping street. Only a 45 minute train journey into Dusseldorf, and 20 minutes from the Veltins Arena. I have stayed here twice before and I will continue to do so when I visit Gelsenkirchen to watch Schalke 04!

The only problem I have found with the hotel is the pillows aren't big enough.
